The JJ Heller Collection (Winter 2018)

When I think about my early days of motherhood, I can really relate to Dickens when he wrote, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” Can I get an amen?!? I experienced so much joy (Lucy’s first steps!) while at the same time, on many days, I felt like I was running on fumes (hello, potty training). For the sake of my own heart, I wanted to write songs that would capture the sweetness and sacredness of motherhood… to remind myself that it’s a gift that should not be taken lightly.

Over the years, I’ve heard countless stories from you about these lullabies and love songs that give me a lump in my throat just thinking about them. You’ve told me how I Dream of You has been played in delivery rooms, nurseries, hospitals and cars. It’s been the soundtrack to thousands of everyday moments and profound life events. And because songs have magic time-travel powers, they can take us right back to that moment we rocked our baby in the middle of the night, or the car ride when our toddler suddenly knew all the words to every song.

Because songs and words are meaningful, I wanted to design a collection of products using those very lyrics that have been meaningful in your life. Whether it’s an embroidered emblem on a sweatshirt that reminds you that motherhood is a gift, or a wooden sign that hangs over your baby’s crib reminding them of your love, my prayer is that these beautiful things will bring joy and peace to you and those you love.

May you never lose the wonder in your soul,

Wood Signs:

I’m sooooo excited about these! Dave and I went through all of my lullabies and carefully chose lyrics from the songs that have been the most meaningful to you. I love the vintage book style and hope they add a bit of whimsy and nostalgia to your space.

Gold Cuff:

I have one of these and it is absolutely gorgeous. The lyrics are from my song Your Hands which is one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written. It came out of a time in my life when I was wrestling with severe panic and anxiety, but God remained faithful through it all. I know these words have been meaningful to you as well and it’s my prayer that you will feel God’s presence and peace whenever you see this bracelet on your wrist.

Felt Pennants:

These are just the cutest! I had these colors custom made and used some of the artwork from my new lullaby album for the design. These bring a vintage charm to any space and I love the price point!

“Dream Come” True Onesie:

This design features a lyric from the song I Dream of You and is so stinkin’ adorable on a onesie! Babies change our lives in ways we could’ve never imagined. ALSO - this would make the cutest baby shower gift ever!!!

“Not Too Small” Onesie & Shirts

This features a line from my song Big World, Baby and it totally comes alive on these onesies and toddler/kid’s shirts! My 7 year-old, Nora, wears this shirt at least once a week and I just love it. ALSO - Since these are available in every possible kid size, they make for ADORABLE family photos!

“I Get to be the One” Sweatshirt

This was one of the very first products I wanted to make for the collection. Not only is it incredibly soft and cozy, but it’s a visible, wearable reminder of the privilege and honor it is to be a mom. When you see those words (from one of my favorite songs), I hope they give you strength in the moments when you feel totally worn out. You’ve got this, mama!

“Never Lose the Wonder” Flag

I cannot wait to hang this in my playroom. If peter pan had his own ship, I’m pretty sure this is the flag he would fly. It is whimsical and inspiring, no matter how old you are.
